Mr 1 is Zoro's first real opponent that gives him hard time, also allows him to unlock CoO and CoA unconsciously. He's special for Zoro.

Zoro even thanks him for making him stronger. No thanks for King despite him helping awaken his CoC.

If Zoro didn't face a hard stubble like King, he won't try giving it all out on/to Enma.

For example, if he faced Queen or Jack, Zoro can defeat them with safe usage of Enma. Thus, in that situation Enma won't suck him and Zoro might not aware he has CoC/how to use AdCoC.
