General & Others Zoro vs King or Zoro vs Orochi?

Trolling aside, I expect Zoro to take on King in the next few chapters (I'm on the KKU train). Orochi also fits our swordsman, but Hiyori and Denjiro will probably take care of him.

Before the effect of the Mink drug wears off, I wouldn't mind seeing a combined attack by Zoro and Yamato against Kaido.

If, say, it turns out Zoro is not a Shimo (unlike Kuina and her father), but Kuina's father is and he was one of those people driven away from Wano due to King killing Ushimaru, would you consider it enough of a connection for them to fight?

It's weird that so far King has zero connection to Zoro, not even his past is touched upon. Oda has done nothing to make us hype about the "supposed" opponent of Zoro.

The story points to Zoro going back to Kaido.

The only way for Zoro vs King to make sense is to have Marco get defeated (so Zoro fights a weakened King), or for Marco to randomly hand off King to Zoro, and for Zoro to fight King instead of the one guy he wants to kill on the island. Neither makes much sense, yet people cling to the formula as if their life depended on it.

Last we saw he was with Fukurokujo he’s probably still alive nearby that battle because he’d die without protection
