As far as I'm aware this move has only been used once in the manga, vs Monet. According to Tashigi, the attack involves using 'the fear of his overwhelming power' and Rayleigh already told us CoC gives you 'the power to overwhelm'.

It'll be interesting if we see Zoro use this same attack again in Wano doubling down on the latest reveal of Zoro's Conqueror's Haki. Funnily enough Orochi would be the best target for this as he'd be fodder enough to be stricken with immense fear of this attack.

Also the Wano anime used this attack in this extended scene, you can see that the attack didn't cut those people but they got knocked out nevertheless:

No. Inflict fear is not the same as having CoC. Cracker also have this ability but he's not a conqueror. Zoro have both "Inflict fear" and CoC abilities.

Vs Monet the fear was a reason why she was decapitated as Tashigi explained.

It's a different nature to giving general fear to people.

Anyway, Dragon Quake... I've always wondered but didn't want to connect it to anything without being sure. Zoro has always had a terrifying aura but for the longest time it was independent of the rest of the story.

Ittoryu Daishinkan is exactly the move I'd like Zoro to use to give Kaido the final blow.

It's not canon but also not necessarily not canon until Oda dictates so. Regardless he would have no reason to consider canon scenes that have nothing to do with his manga panels, I mean additional stuff rather than everything.

Dunno, but to give an example, the anime knew Kyoshiro = Denjiro before manga readers did.
