Oh yeah I've heard about that. We're not allowed to touch manatees too despite how friendly and curious they are, due to how endangered they are or something? But they're all so cuddly and cute!
My mum has petted a dolphin before and posed with it and also a seal for a photo too separately. The seal even kissed her LMAOOOOO. A seal treats my mum better than my dad ever did SMH. I'm adopting a seal as my dad now.

If God does not want to just make a new race of humans that's sinless again, and instead wants to redeem those who want to accept his free gift, and ressurect all humans, then maybe if the new earth ( mentioned at the end of Revelation, maybe chapter 21 or 22 or 20 ) will have animals, they will be animals who lived on the earth and are ressurected and will be brought there, not newly created animals
