Throughout all the things I've said about him including me thinking he's one of the worst villains in the series (which is still true), I must admit it was pretty cool that Oda paralleled Vergo consistently with Rosinante. He doesn't really do anything with it, but it is a nice detail. Shows that even the more lackluster villains get some good writing here and there.
..Except Vander Decken and Trebol.

way to fight. Oh no I'm actually glazing him, fuck. His food stuck to his face gag was funny too. He should have had ovens df or something imo or haki so strong it made his body searing hot somehow. Demonic haki.

I rather have boring competent villains like him than traumatic cringe fest, unfunny, incompetent, obnoxious, questionable villains lol.

At least hogback VA was awesome as Orochi though too. Vergos final

scene was also pretty profound, weirdly tragic and hard hitting too despite how much of an absolutely POS he is too. Really nice change to see villains die but also go out in a bittersweet way and actually be cared for and respected. That whole honour, loyalty thing.
