For me it's that it feels a bit like a parody trying to take itself too seriously, if that makes any sense. I get that it's a reconstruction of superhero tropes or whatever. Megamind legit had more of a superhero feel to me than Invincible did.

The WHOLE concept around Viltrumites comes from Kryptonians. There's literally no Invincible, Omni-Man and Thragg without Superman. There inspiration is clear.

So I just finished a rewatch of the JoJo anime parts. Stone Ocean is just way too fucking good, not counting anything afterwards (especially given 7 onwards is its own thing) it's Araki's pen at its best imo.

Giorno is my least favourite JoJo but I think he's a solid character and was executed exactly as intended by Araki. He's like a shadow capo of the team and he has this very neutral way of going about things, you rarely see him enjoying anything, or take any insult to heart. He's always calculating the next move from the background like a robot. This actually suits the mafia world and him becoming a leader later.
