  • God Shiva is pretty exhausted and loses consciousness for a second.
  • Brunhilde is frustrated after humanity lost another fight.
  • Buddha will be fighting next from God’s side.
  • Zeus goes to call Buddha.
  • Buddha can be seen lying under a tree.
  • As usual, Buddha seems pretty casual.
  • Chapter 42 mostly contains talks on both sides.
  • Buddha asks Zeus that ‘If he really wants to destroy humanity’
  • To this Zeus replies that he does not want to lose as a god.
  • Jack the Ripper appears wrapped in bandages.
  • Geir doesn’t know how to approach Jack as he killed his brother Hercules.
  • Heimdall presents Buddha as a participant from God’s side.
  • But Buddha interrupts and says ‘He will fight on the Human Side’.
  • Human participant is not revealed yet.

Buddha truly be feckin with the Gods. :rolaugh:

So is Buddha a full blown God? Cause in the first chapter, the Gods' decision to destroy humanity was unanimous.

So that means Buddha either;
I) Voted to destroy humanity and has now changed his mind.
II) Abstained from voting.
III) Did not have a vote, same as Heracles (who did not have a vote due to only being considered a demigod).

Regardless, the entire of humanity is probably going to convert to Buddhism after this. Good. :madmonk:

I suppose it depends on whether the Gods send another God to deal with Buddha in the ring or if there is a human willing to fight for the Gods for whatever reason.

If it is the latter then I would suspect Qin Shi Huang above any of the rest. Real life Huang was supposedly obsessed with attaining immortality. Though everyone in RoR is immortal as long as their souls are not destroyed, it could be that QSH originally desired to become immortal in order to become a God and rule over humanity.

Now, his only chance to become a God would be to join the Gods.

This is all hypothetical talk of course. Lol.

I was wondering about that but I remember that there was a scene where this was noted.
Is this a clue as to what the nature of Buddha is supposed to be? Lol.

Nice find.

I don't know what the Japanese term signifies, but from where I'm from Buddha is sometimes pronounced with a title "Gautom" Buddha.

Maybe it does signify Godhood, and makes a distinction from the normal term. Will have to reaserch more on that.
