My only problem with Nami is her personality when she enters Bitch mode.

Hmm well, true that you could hate that, but if you think about it her bitch mode comes from life that she lived, and just half year with SH can't just make some things in her behaviour dissapear. That and her personality....when it's clearly she actually not used to reveal her true feelings, so for her it seems acting rude is the only answer. That is the reason why her character is that great. She is well written character, and only after time skip moments till WCI arc, was out of character behaviour for her.
