Ragnarok Surtur is tiers above regular Thanos. He's going to be destroying the planet around Thanos and incidentally doing any harm to Thanos, as he's so far below Surtur's notice at this point. No amount of martial arts skills or powerful metallic glaive is going to be enough to bridge the gap between them.

But Thanos with the Gauntlet could probably snap him out, who knows lol.

Power Gem Thanos probably smashes. He's pretty effective with all the stones and even a rookie like Ronan the Accusor could wipe out a planet's life with the power stone. Whereas Surtur needs some time to do that, I think Thanos could probably pulverize Surtur at any point in time with it.

All other variations win at easier difficulties.

Dormammu inside his realm is pretty much invulnerable.

I'm not sure if this applies to the films though. Obviously the films are semi-faithful to the comics in terms of power levels but I'm not sure the writers intended for Ragnarok Surtur to be above Infinity Gauntlet Thanos lol.

You seem to be following comics a lot. How would you rank the top 10-15 most powerful beings in Marvel comics? People like TOAA, Beyonder, Franklin Richards etc etc.

I am not the best person to ask lol. I consider myself semi familiar but there are people who are far more knowledgeable than me. Real comic fans would pick my list apart but I’d say:

1. TOAA-the strongest being in Marvel period
2. The Beyonder
3. The Living Tribunal

And after the Tribunal, in no particular order,

The Marquis of Death, the Chaos King, Mad Jim Jaspers, Eternity, Dormammu, Surtur, HotU Thanos, Odin, Galactus, Zeus, the Celestials, Franklin Richards, Gorr the Godbutcher, King Thor, Dr Strange, Scarlet Witch etc...

The above are all either complex reality warpers on a universal scale, or are basically as powerful or moreso as characters who are. The Marquis of Death once made every star in the Universe all go Supernova all at once, and then went on a time, space, and reality warping Frenzy to torment the Fantastic Four lol, Marvel (and DC) characters are really just preposterous lol.

Without gauntlet Thanos has no chance. With 2 and 3 round it's questionable, but i give it to Thanos. 4 round is a stomp in a favor of Thanos.

@Light D Lamperouge from what I've seen in battle forums, even MCU Dormammu is multiversal, though on lower end.

@Admiral Lee Hung 616 Surtur is multiversal? What has he done to be multiversal? And Thanos destroyed all abstracts with infinity gauntlet.

I think Heart of Universe Thanos beats the Living tribunal if I remember right.

About Surtur vs Normal Thanos : Surtur kills him. Full gauntlet Thanos wins this.

Dormammu wins against Surtur, in his own realm not that difficult but outside Surtur would put a good fight.

He didnt kill Hela with his blow, he destroyed Asgard which in return killed Hela since Hela does take power from Asgard. That being said he is still island level? Idk how big Asgard is

Thor isnt odin force, he is Thorforce which aint as potent yet ae Odin force. Stormbreaker Thor is prolly mid level Thorforce and we will see high end Thorforce during God Slayer in next movie. So Thor in Ragnarok is low level Thor Force

Also they didnt run away from his bcs he is strong. They ran away because he needes to destroy Asgard in order to kill Hela

So with that in mind. Thanos wins in all rounds
