Bad so far but he is the only other confirmed CoC user on the SNs side, when the CoC clashes start flying he will be more relevant.
Maybe if Zoro gets knocked out he can add Enma to his mech.:gonope:
Damm, threads about Kidd, but some users still need an overdose of copium just to cope with Zoro's impressive performance.

OT: I'm sure he will shine later, but for now he's been rather disappointing.

As far as feats go, he has not been nearly as bad as most are making it seem. Many just think his moves are boring so that’s why they crap on his effectiveness.

As far as his shine/portrayal in this fight goes, I have been disappointed so far. But I’m confident this will change so I’m not worried. At first he is surprised at Luffys strength but then during the fight he will work to not be left behind and end up impressing us. That’s what rivals to the mc always do. Him being so shocked at Luffy’s strength will only motivate him to be stronger, watch.

He's a professional cheerleader and at that job, he excelled.

His reaction to Luffy's Kong Gatling:

His reaction to Kaido's Tatsumaki:

He talks a big game but can't back it up with action:

Well it's fine. He's realised his true role as a cheerleader, Killer is coming into his role as well:

Law's slacking a bit on the cheerleader part, he needs to step up lest he get left behind.

Reaching and over analyzing as always. None of the panels you just posted paint Kidd out to be a “cheerleader”. Saying “what is that?” about Kaido’s attack and talking about Luffy’s ability drawback doesn’t make him a cheerleader. Once again authors always do the cliche where the rival is shocked about the MCs new power all the time. All that scene will do is motivate him to keep up with and rival Luffy for the rest of the fight. Killer commenting on Zoro’s attack means nothing. Killer has methods of internal destruction so he doesn’t need to cut Kaido’s scales.

The greatest insult I can give Kid is that he’s performed exactly as expected so far.

Going forward he’ll have one big solo moment, and at least one moment where he and Luffy are shown as a duo in a good light, but Luffy will still go on to steal the show in the finale as he did in the beginning of the fight.

End of the day he’ll be forever in Luffy’s shadow.

He might have a 4 way CoC blast with Luffy and the Yonko.

I expect any significant teamwork vs Kaido to be Luffy and Zoro.

Very underwhelming so far, but the next 10 minutes ( in op) is his time to shine. Hopefully that was planned by Oda, nothing worse than having Kid just get clapped by Hybrid Kaido
I think the 10 minutes are actually for Zoro not Kidd.

This is the only hope I have left for him.

I was having fun, but I think you're going to far in your defense. Killer was surprised at the damage Zoro dealt.

Just like Sanji is the Yamcha of One Piece, Kidd is the Sanji of Supernovas. :mihanha:

My prediction is for it to be Ashura Zoro vs HF Kaido while Luffy is out.
