Nah read the manga, trust me. You won't be able to put it down.

I just double checked. Most chapters are in the 33-40 pages range, there are some with around 25 pages, and some with 60, but it's worth it.

Maybe Nikola Tesla? I remembered reading an article about Tesla creating new ideas but then got rejected by humanity because they didn't like his ideas. So I think that Buddha will fight for the humanity side while Tesla can fight for the gods side since he loses hope in humanity.
