I want to know what people think about Kaido dying at the end of wano.

Obviously there is alot of theories about Zoro killing him, But even if you dont necessarily think Zoro is the one that is going to kill him, Do you think he will die at the end of Wano or will he stay alive?

We all know that Kaido wants to die, Also hes very strong and can escape probably any prison so capturing him isnt a solution, If he stays free he will kill everyone who opposed him and will keep wreaking havoc in Wano, so him becoming a good guy wont be a solution either.

So if you think that Kaido will stay alive, My question is how?

Poll attached.

No. Villains dont get what they want.

CP0 will take his defeated body
The first bit is definitely valid, but imagine that Luffy finally breaks through the most substantial barrier in his journey to become Pirate King at the expense of his ideals. It would be a massive slice of character development to see him struggle with the moral implications of both being responsible (directly or otherwise) for someone’s death AND giving a villain what they desire...again, I don’t know that Oda feels any motivation to show the main character going through such a moral quandary, but I think it would add a lot of pathos to an otherwise disconnected arc.

Luffy doesnt not kill to be more morally good. He does it because seeing their dreams crushed is a far fitting punishment then death. As in its worse than death. Plus Luffy killing someone wouldnt be a big character moment, since his character hasnt shown any on-panel distain for killing. So it wouldn't really be a character moment.

I gave higher credences to him dying before the reveal that CP-0 were in Onigashima. Before now, there was an open question of how his defeat would be rendered permanent, but the CP-0 might be able to capture him (they could also kill him for his Devil Fruit).

What is disconnected about Wano in your perspective?

Going by the past villains formula, Kaido no matter how much he wants to die in a grand way he wont have his wish fulfilled. For a bigger punishment Oda will keep him alive and punish him by humiliating him, making him lose everything he worked for as it was the case for past villains. No different here.

At best BBP off him to steal his df but even that I doubt he will have to stay alive for a while to humiliate him for everything he is about to lose in this arc.

Kaido doesn't want to die only like a normal person, he want to die like Whitebeard and Roger
so as long big fleet of Marine/WG are not coming to Wano, its hard to me to believe Kaido will die.

beside, we talking about a series where some character who shown to be "death" actually survive like Pell and Pound.
now if Pedro is still alive, then Kaido obviously not gonna dead
