Falling down on a stairs = committing suicide according to Japanese myth.

It's not a Japanese thing, idk from where this came(probably someone added in Reddit ), there are things similar in Asian culture where they use some accident to denote in some cases when explaining to someone if needed to in a subtle manner, but that is very rare too. Moreover, no way Kuina committed suicide after the promise with zoro... also no point in adding that plot.

Sanji starved for 70 days and still have energy left to kill Zeff. He endured beating from his siblings everyday. That's a strong willed.

Sanji was about to throw away his dream and marry into Big Mom's family to save his crew and Zeff

that didn't show anything more than a lack of trust in his friends, he should've known that since he was involved in enis loby.
that's not a proof of strong will. he knows they were already against a yonko kaido but he still let himself be intimidated by big mom knowing full well that his crew will definitely come after him like they did for robin.
