But the fanbase gave them terms and made them power levels and ignore everything to the contrary. The only soft power scaling system is either bounties or enemy organization placing.

Yup I see that. Since the intro of the Sweet Commanders, the fandom has gone nuts with the power level rhetoric. Oda contradicts himself with bounties as well. First he has a character saying that bounties aren't a direct indication of power, then he has guys like Peros and most recently Marco refer to bounties in the context of strength.

We can't forget that Sanji was the one who took it upon himself to save Kinemon, and what was the decisive factor for that decision

Now we know that Momonosuke is not Kinemon's actual son, but he took it upon himself to protect him. And we know that for Sanji when it comes to fatherhood blood ties matter less than actions, and through his actions Kinemon was valuing Momonosuke as he would have his own son.

Knowing how much Momonosuke means to Kinemon, he's very likely to want to make the choice Kinemon would have made.
