Chapter Discussion Why Whitebeard didn't avenge Oden?

Its crazy how he put his life just to save ace but he didnt did the same for oden... yes the big reason why its because of the man power and probably the wrong timing for whitebeard to go an all out war on kaido.

But what if theres more into it? what if whitebeard didnt help oden its because whitebeard knew it was his destiny, saw by toki and oden. Just like they told whitebeard his destiny, they bilieve so because they knew this is the best way for the future of the ones they will left behind..

so basically after roger became a pirate king, oden probably went to whitebeard to say his farewells and go back to wano in there he told everything to whitebeard, his destiny, what will happen on the future, the supernovas, the strawhat of luffy everything..

Plot. Oda sacrificed so many of his "sons" while trying to save ace........knew how powerful marines are - Admirals + schibukai + sengoku + garp.............he should have known it was an impossible task still he tried.......and before someone says ace was alive........the chance of ace dying was 99% without outside interference which WB didn't had any idea about....

KAIDO embarrassed the MAN so much that KAIDO himself got tired of it and it was SOLO to kill him and all his crew.
The great danger was KAIDO, KAIDO did not have many men at the time, he did not have his artificial DFS which in itself demonstrates that his crew was not good, but even so WB fears KAIDO.

"Marco: can you imagine what would happen?"
Not even MARCO was putting faith in WB prime vs Kaido.

Oden wasn't Whitebeard's son, he was more like a partner. Whitebeard would risk his life for a son, but not someone he viewed as an equal. (Not combat wise obviously).

Whitebeard was also near the end of his lifespan at Marineford.

Oden was wasn’t a member of his crew and no longer pet of Whitebeards family.

Ace was alive and still a crew member

Going to war to save a living son vs going to war to avenge a dead person who betrayed you is different.

ones worth the loss of fellow life. One isnt

He literally wanted to save oden but didn't because of casualties not because he didn't cared for him..........

Oden was already dead for a while by the time they found out, that would mean sending his "sons" to die to avenge someone that a good portion of them never even meet.

Plus, Oden left WB's crew and didnt come back like he said he would, Wb had no obligation of avenging Oden specialy if that would mean putting his crew at risk...Remeenber, the other yonkos keep each other in check, if WB atacked Kaido it would mean leaving himself, his teritory and his crew vulnerable to big mom and the WG, and that woudl cause imense chaos through the new world as a result.

Basically amounted to Ace still being alive while Oden wasn’t. No point in going to war with an enemy to save someone if that someone is already dead, and Whitebeard probably didn’t want to go that far in going about simply avenging someone until he saw the immediate opportunity to kick Akainu’s ass after Ace got killed.

Dude ace was as good as dead....its not like WB had a secret escape plan.....how could WB think they can defeat admirals plus sengoku plus garp plus schibukai...he should know well what they are capable of.... if it wasn't for luffy ace would have died...much sooner

Rescuing ace was a sucide mission
