Oden is alive because of 2 things :
Time time fruit
They can't handle Yonko without a top tier (rop tiers) help

I don't see it as a trick from Onimaru or Kanjuro
We've had many tricks or fake scenes , especially with Oden :
Yamato already cosplay as Oden, adding fake Oden is just a lowball

Too soon to jumping to conclusions mate, it's all just speculation atm.

It is most like the real.
Onimaru tranforming to Oden wouldn't make sense,he never did that before.

Kanjuro also wouldn't make sense if we use this logic:

Time manipulation
Revival of the dead
Time skipping, temporary future power ups

Dont you guys find it odd that among the fruits we saw in the flashbacks.
Only time time no mi , hasn't been eaten by any current living pirate...
We had Barton and Bon clay using their fruits...before we saw the past users of those fruits being Orochi allies
If toki truly died then who ate it?
And why isn't the fruit being used now?
We know fruits are grown again once the users die.

The contrast:
Bari bari no mi and clone clone no mi user were against Oden
While current users are allies to Luffy

Which means if toki died, then the next user will either use the powers against or for Luffy and co's survival!
If toki didn't die, then she will use her powers to help the alliance.

Oda can't just erase the fruit from existence

Personally I'd say it's not the real Oden, but hey, this is Oda we're talking about, so I'd say 50/50. And to be frank, there are more reasons and foreshadowings for him to be the real Oden than to be the fake one.

I was thinking it is Yamato with a mythical Tanuki DF, since the Tanuki has the ability of shape shifting just like the Kitsune, but seeing Momo's in that position, cannot help that Sanji will meet them while Momo is in that position.
there are still Fukurokuju who might have such a DF, The Tanuki is knows for his big testicles that he can use for every thing i can see Oda switched that to the long ears.
another possibility is for sure Kanjuru's painting , or Onimaru , or even maybe Hiyori herself has a DF.
