People were going a bit wild with the time travel theories 2 weeks ago from this being a “time projection” to “Oden time traveling before the Kaido fight”. Turns out this wasn’t even worth a cliffhanger, though this was the outcome that made the most sense.
The Novas splitting up the Yonko basically debunks any idea that the alliance is losing now, atleast that’s what it seems like right now. I think the whole point of splitting things up is to zone in on Kaido, Big Mom doesn’t really belong tbh. So she could potentially be teleported away to some remote place via shambles and either get stalled or put into a circumstance where she can’t rejoin the original battlefield in time.
I’m wondering if Luffy still has something effective besides Gear 4th, idk bout anyone else but I don’t get why this guy has the same drawback. He was spamming Gear 4th during the entire raid but drops in the middle of the most pivotal battle? If they’re going to take down Kaido, Luffy would have to stay in G4 far longer or simply use something that isn’t as taxing on his haki reserves but is still potent enough to threaten Kaido and that’s the question.

So the question remains, who the hell healed the scabbards, and where did they go? It obviously wasn't Kanjuro, because he just tried to blow them up. If he was hell bent on killing them still, he could have killed them when they were wounded. Not healed them, and then tried to kill them.
It looks like Orochi was a drawing of Kanjuro also. When Kaido cut his head off, there was no blood, just like with Oden. As expected of the most paranoid character in all the series. There was no way he was going to expose himself like that with Toki's prophecy looming over the horizon.
