Break Week Excuses for Mihawk breaking down

#81
Yes without a devil fruit he is the strongest lol
Get Real guys, if Oda gave mihawk the kanji for swordsmen why didn' fujitora recieve it
Oda>All
I don't know how you got sword-user for that but another one says this.

The "Hawkeye", feared by all the other professional swordsmen, looks forward to the day when a swordsmaster emerges who can surpass "Red Hair", with whom he had crossed swords before.

剣を業とする全ての者が畏れる"鷹の目"は、かつて刃を交えた"赤髪"を凌ぐ使い手の到来を、未来に見据えている…!!
" "Hawkeye", who is feared by all those who use swords, is looking forward to the arrival of a swordsman who will surpass the "red-haired" swordsman with whom he once crossed swords...!"
Where did you honestly get sword-user from? just to have Fujitora under mihawk title? Whitebeard uses a sword/blade yet does not fear hawkeye that was just a hype statement, in total it says sword but doesn' relate with anything, the second statement about the sword strictly said Swordsmen, I'll keep posting different translation

Falcon's Eye" which frightens all the people engaged on the path of the saber , hopes in the future, the arrival (the advent) of a user (- a master - when we speak of fencing) who surpasses "Le Roux" with which he crossed swords in the past (with which he once crossed swords) ... !!

No its about swordsmanship, no one wants to write the title as the worlds strongest swordsmanship
Im in a Japanese site about mihawk right now the refer to him as the best in swordsmanship remind you these guys read raws
also the raws say shanks and mihawk hasn't even settle their duel
I'm not sure where this belief that WSS is about Swordsmanship not strength has come from,
世界最強の剣士 (Sekai Saikyō no Kenshi) is Mihawks title
The first Kanji The character 強 (Sai) which roughly translate to most, extreme or Utmost. Now let’s look at the second Kanji, 強 (Tsuyo) which translates to Strong, Powerful, or Potent, "The character 強 likely originally referred to the rice weevil, an insect that attacks rice and several other crops, before being phonetically borrowed to represent the sense of "strong; powerful""
Again nothing to do with skill simply strength and power.

Its really simple;

-You can't say greatest man for WB's title, only strongest man is the true translation.

-Stephen Paul said you can use both greatest swordsman title and strongest swordsman title. Both are true translations.

Also; Mihawk himself said no sword is STRONG without grace (which is skill) so the strength and the skill is directly related when it comes to swordsmanship.

And the main difference between Swordsman Luffy and Swordsman Zoro is skill. Luffy will have stronger physical and Haki stats but Zoro will be stronger swordsman due to the skill factor. That's the main deciding factor in Mihawk's title; skill.

WB's title

Mihawks title
世界最強の剣士

Lmfao look at you using Stephen Paul when it suits you

So I take it you also think mihawk shanks and wb are legends amongst men like he said right ?

Mihawk and wbs titles are identical until the end man/swordsman

Both are worlds STRONGEST

Neither say greatest.

Does Saikyo mean strongest or not

In a 5 v 2. Replace Big Mom and Kaido with Mihawk and Shanks they would fair much worse in this scenario as they don't have the durability to withstand a fraction of the attacks Kaido and Big Mom can.
Why would they need to withstand their attacks when they can actually ... attack them :choppawhat:
They're certainly more proficient and effective than Kaido & Big Mom when it comes to it.

Not having a crew doesn't stop mihawk from beating the other yonkous and becoming yonkou, so if he is warlord, it's because he is part of their group of strength, not yonkous.
Why'd he want to beat a Yonko, let alone become one? He's a loner, and Yonko title doesn't suit his lifestyle at all.
if mihawk would beat kaidou, wano would be free and people of wano would hold mihawk as their savior and wano would be considered to be under mihawk, same for cake island, whatever shanks island is.
Again, why would he want it? Is Wano his birthplace or something?
luffy himself didn't even need to beat yonkou to become yonkou.
Ah yes, the "Fifth" four emperor, can't believe people take that seriously. Even then, it doesn't matter.
In wci he only beat yc1 and yc3 and because of that was considered 5th yonkou, mihawk is not even that
Yet we were told that Morgan wrote it so Luffy beat Big Mom herself and no word about her Commanders?
Blackbeard only beat Marco and became yonkou
And took all Whitebeard territories with powerful crew.

Bad bait, you should be ashamed of yourself:gonope:

All admirals fought WB one way or the other, but top tier Mihawk not even once fought him, his "distance" stopped to a Commander :saden:
That commander felt the need to step in when it was Mihawk attacking his captain but curiously, when the Vice Admirals Ronse and John Giant attacked WB later, he let his captain deal with them.
:kayneshrug:

Maybe Jozu knew WB couldn't take on Mihawk's challenge, he didn't want to see his captain humiliated in front of everyone.

Jozu, later Vista, Admirals all fought WB a way or another, not Mifraud :kobeha:

It was a war between the Marines and the WB crew.
If Mihawk went seriously against WB, he would have overshadowed all the Admirals feats (that's also why Sengoku and Garp didn't fight against WB, to let those normie Admirals get some shine).

Mihawk went into the Summit War as an observer in order to foresee the upcoming events as well as new powerhouses (like Luffy) that will arise as a result of this unprecedented conflict.
He will have soon his time to shine now that the Shishibukai are all disbanded and hunted by the Marines.

Yeah, irl its someone who fights with a sword, irl mihawk would also be the strongest at swordsmanship but you keep denying that

Get it translated and it never comes out a swordsmen, I know you want to act sped for daddyhawk but this is one piece bud
Oda classifys him as a sword user and not swordsmen
mihawk is the best at swordsmanship, fuji devil fruit doesn't count towards that
シャンクの剣術はトップレベルであり、ミホークはナンバーワンの剣士です。
Shank's swordmanship is at the top level, Mihawk is the No.1 swordman.
Swordsmanship=Swordman
devil fruits dont count towards it
I already explained you this my guy.

Authors generally implicate whole individual when referring to a swordsman, not merely their swordsmanship. Hence strongest swordsman = strongest individual with swordsmanship. Mihawk > Shanks no matter which styles Shanks may or not bear.

You also have Mihawk considering Shanks not a match when they meet. He probably knew what was up.

u think shanks and mihawk gonna get hit? lok they arent garbage like meme or kaido
Yeah. Imagine 2 expert in Haki who've mastered it to the most elite level being constantly hit by the 5 SNs.

Shanks has huge Haki hype and Mihawk is such a COA master that he's turned his blade permanently black and is also called the clairvoyant (hints at his COO mastery level).

As if they'd get hit like Kaido and BM whose ideas of fighting is tanking shit. Not to mention unlike Kaido and BM where Luffy could tank lightning and wisthand Boro's breath, Mihawk or Shanks cutting would cleave Luffy in half.
