I think Zoro's done fighting, but i somehow expect another big character moment for him in a chapter that's named after him. Maybe he takes a big hit for Luffy at one point where Kaido has a clean shot to kill him.
I better not see anyone say shit to trash talk if Zoro doesn't fight anymore btw. His contribution has been invaluable, if he's going to need to rest, let the man rest, he more than did his job.
They don't have CoC at all. They are government dogs. Unlike the Shichibukai who just gain advantage of the title by doing shady businesses without the marines being able to lay hand on them, the admirals actually chase fodders who lay hand on the Celestials.
Shanks wasn't satisfied with ending the war. He took their trophies (WB and Ace) and Sengoku said he will take the blame for it, since it is Shanks we talk about.

Obviously Kidd taking a Yonko is nothing to be too disappointed about at the end of the day, but I still kind of see where he’s coming from. I will be VERY disappointed if Kidd decides to just drop his revenge on Kaido for Big Mom. Just looking at this from a character perspective, I don’t like it and it honestly feels a bit out of character for him.

Powerlevel wise changes nothing, an Emperor is an Emperor. In particular Kaido and Linlin were shown fighting for 3 days.
Am surprised they don't want him to take out another yonko instead of just wearing down Kaido for the MC. He's actually using his brain, Zoro couldn't hold Prometheus much longer with Kaido running wild so he jumped on to BM who was being saved by Prometheus.

That's the problem with relying on faulty translations. Stephen's script doesn't have him calling Shanks a 'has been' for instance. He just says that he isn't interested now that he only has one arm. Shanks is perfectly confident that it will still be a good match. And yes there are values with swordsmen. Zoro when he first fights Mihawk says 'a scar on the back is a swordsman's shame'. So swordsmen do have values. The word kenshi even means something like 'sword knight'. not just strictly swordmaster.
In any event, Mihawk is WSS and waits for someone to surpass Shanks. Even if Mihawk is stronger, Shanks is the next best thing.

But nah for real, the development that CoC can be weaponized for attacks (which I literally stated when Roger fought Whitebeard that they were likely using CoC and not CoA), is a really awesome development.
It’s hype as shit that Zoro has been doing this since Enies Lobby (even though Asura didn’t have much effect on the Pacifista), it’s awesome that he has the power.
It’s also awesome that Luffy is learning this power on the spot. Roger, Whitebeard, and Kaido, all look much more powerful now as a result.
Every conqueror in this manga just got hyped. The only conqueror, who is once again left in the dust in terms of his ever-decreasing hype and plot relevance, is Shanks.
People were saying Shanks had the best CoC in the manga, but...it looks like from the way Kaido spoke, Shanks’ CoC isn’t above Oden’s or anyone else’s. Shanks was supposed to teach Luffy advanced CoC, but it looks like Luffy can just learn it from seeing Kaido do it once. People said Kaido would not have strong Haki because that would make him too powerful, well now Kaido has the strongest offensive Haki in the verse, on top of the strongest Zoan Devil fruit and a nearly invincible body.
Shanks is once again portrayed as the one armed cripple who can’t do anything right. Even base-Kaido can arguably defeat Shanks now before we even bring his DF into it lol.
Akainu could become the Pirate King and complete Roger’s ambition in less than a year, while Shanks is left fighting Teach for 3rd place among Yonko, and is begging the Gorosei to stop Teach from kicking him down to last place since Whitebeard couldn’t defeat Teach in Shanks’ stead.
No wonder Shanks is only brave enough to face Teach when his crew is alongside him.
