He probably said it's his condition limit (he was coughing blood remember ?), so he used his ashura to make as much damage as possible and took a nap.
Zoro has still lots of pre-skip techniques that he didn't use yet^^
Well, let's say that at the moment the spoilers at not so clear but it's normal. Anyway, I think that Ashura really is Zoro's best one, unless he didn't developed a new top technique, and Kaido just attacked him) like Katakuri when Luffy was about to use G4 for the first time. I think that the Dragon really is displaying a 360 degrees knowledge of the 3 types of Haki, sounds like he used Coo here and attacked Zoro first.
I mean, I don't want Zoro to use such a powerful technique and him just tanking like nothing, I want to see him heavily damaged by the SN, expecially by Luffy and Zoro
If Zoro’s Ashura is similar to the WB/Roger clash, then that basically confirms that Mihawk has this different COC too and is actually is in that range of power.
Doesn't Yami only pull ppl who are weaker than BB in strength towards him like Ace. He had to walk up to WB and touch him. BB is a big guy but Zoro was lifting buildings at 19. The idea of Yami sucking him in seems out of place for a character who has superhuman strength but we will see. Oda still needs to make the fruit abilities a bit more clearer.
The scabbards and Luffy himself also majorly contributed in reducing Kaido's endurance. In the end, he'd only be nerfed in endurance only. Willpower allows you to pull your strongest attacks when back in the corner, especially when referring to conqueror haki users, so Kaido will show his strongest attacks against Luffy and lose as a way for Luffy to destroy Kaido's "1 on 1, always bet on Kaido" hype
Not every top tier. But the likes of Zoro, Mihawk, Shanks and Oden have the same fighting style; DFless top tiers that fight with a sword. No DF to compensate. Mihawk is Zoro's end goal.
Something that I overlooked that was brought to my attention... Zoro is yet to turn enma into a black blade. Does fighting King really seem significant enough to have Zoro forge a kokuto through it? Zoro has to confront Kaido again to do it imo
Zoro not fighting king he will recover and fight kaido again to finish him off. This is just odas way of giving luffy his short 1v1 so he can shine. Zoro will rejoin later on.

BB didn't have Haki when he faced WB maybe COo since he was gauging Luffy strength
But his TS vivre cards confirms he has Coa and CoO
and since bugress might have ACOA BB surely will
I have always seen him as someone who is over reliant on his fruits abilities. Does BB look like someone who could throw hands with anyone? It is obvious Luffy is gna struggle against him but he will definitely get that work against Zoro.
At this point it's possible ZKK won't happen.
Like, Zoro even said it himself that he is almost down.
And it looks like Luffy is going 1vs1 against Kaido.
What feats? Advanced CoA and CoC infused with his swordsmanship. Mihawk literally has a black blade and stands supreme above all the other swordsmen. Sure, Mihawk probably won't have Asura, but he will have an advanced form of CoC, unless you believe Zoro already surpassed Mihawk. Which isn't true until he turns his blades black. Only then it will become debatable.
