the fight so far has been Luffy trying to figure a weak point or a way to defeat Kaido, that's what was he trying to accomplish two chapters ago while the rest try to protect him

so Zolo wasn't even close to Luffy to begin with, he just helped giving him time to adjust to Kaido powers

what's more interesting is Kidd now is tasked to deal with another Yonko

based on this Zolo is far from being compared to Luffy and Kidd, it's just common sense to consider Zolo around Killer lvl and way behind the Captains trio

He did it in such a more convincing way than Oden too.

Even Luffy's CoC has so far not proven to stand on the same level as Zoro's maximum AP wise.

I just said he would surpass Oden this arc a little while ago. Also, according to some people, scarring him in his hybrid form isn't as big as a feat as scarring him in his primary zoan form. Though I personally don't think so. @nik87 does.

Good thing Zoro cut him in both forms.

Luffy is landing physical blows..they will make Kaido lose his footing..Doesn't mean he's doing any where near the damage Zoro is

KAIDO is doing very well, even after all these blows, according to REDON.
Let's just agree that ASHURA zoro managing to hurt KAIDO, is a great feat, if he can hurt KAIDO (KAIDO is absolutely fine), he can kill any LARIENE out there.

Kaido is about to finish off Zoro with his kanabou. Law attacks him but he and Zoro are blown away by Kaidou's "Raimei Hakke".

Kaidou: "It's such a shame. If you all come with me, we'd have taken the world together!!"

Suddenly, Kaidou hears Luffy's voice from behind him.

Luffy: "With you? We would never want to go with you. We all love "samurai", you know?"

We can see a little flashback to when Hyougorou teaches Luffy not to just force Haki out, but let it flow to his fist and into enemy's body.

Hyougorou: "Your power will bloom in the time of crisis!!"

Kaidou attacks Luffy again but Luffy blocks the kanabou with his feet without even touching it. There's lot of black thunder coming out from around his feet. Luffy then jumps at Kaidou with black lighting around his fist. He then hits Kaidou's stomach and chin (without touching him) until Kaidou hits the ground.

Law: "They aren't even touching...!!" (He uses the same phrase Oden said when he saw Roger and Whitebeard clashed)."

Hybrid is better fighting wise but not better in everything. Full Zoan form is maybe more durable, and even if they were both as durable Oden really put Kaido down, here Kaido is still standing and fighting. For now Oden feat => Zoro one. If Zoro had matched Oden feat Kaido would have said something in that sense

Zoro cutting Kaido in his hybrid mode which will leave a scar is not equal to Oden feat who only cut Kaido in his dragon.


Kaido much stronger now than he was when he fought Oden. Back then he too one injury from Oden. Now he has taken more injuries from the Scabbards, Luffy and Zoro.

That was a very weaken and injured (possible broken bones) Zoro.
