Kaido hasnt find yet a monstrous samurai to the calliber of Oden capable to finish him.
The legacy that Zoro has to leave in Wano has to be more than just facing a calamity (no one will give a shit about that)- how do you think will show that Oda? Zoro need to bring and do something that connect him to Ryuma legacy (what the point of the shushui plot point?
The flower capital will face a great danger in the following chapters, and many player have to step up again such Momo,Zoro,Luffy

I can continues on and on, by the way, Kaido know personally Zoro now (he is in the list of people that Kaido would gladly have to his side). There is basically 0 interaction between King & Zoro. He was in the same room where king stood for maybe 10 chapters? Nothing happen, not a single word. But yeah because the ganging stuff between Queen and King is the main reason for that fight. Yeah good luck with that.

Zolo best feat is injuring Kaido, Wich he's doing because he has Kaido weakness just like Luffy, not because he's on another lvl of strength or some shit

Zolo absolutely doesn't have the feats to defeat Doffy with his mobility, range and AoE

Heck even dying was ok for him as long as Doffy is killed by Kaido.

Law planned to die vs Doflamingo. After Dressrosa the man obviously trained because it makes no sense one of the smartest guy in the story would sit on his ass for weeks knowing he would face the World Strongest Creature
