it would be a bit surprising in the flashback with Hyoguro we see that even though Luffy mastered the Ryo, something was missing was combining the Haki of Kings with the haki of advanced weaponry.

And when Kaido attacked him, Luffy realized that he was using the Haki of the Conquerors in addition to the Haki.

Luffy took it to the next level by combining ryo + haki from Conquerors.

So that comes back to my question how can Kid do what Luffy did if he doesn't master basic Ryo?

Since to do what Luffy, Roger, Whitebeard, and Kaido did it seems the Ryo is needed at first. Kid did not have Hyogoro as his master how is it possible that he succeeds?

Did Hyogoro not know the next level Ryou didn't include CoC? For someone who has been training his Ryou for so long, I'd expect him to know this.

Kaidos Ragnarok hit Luffy dead on, there wasn't any space between so it could be Kaido only know hardening + CoC while Luffy, Roger and WB know Barrier CoA + CoC. I'd guess Kidd falls with Kaido group and maybe BM since we haven't seen her use Barrier CoA.

Kaido didn't initially reacted to Asura, he only reacted after getting wounded by Zoro's attack, wondering if he has conqueror haki

That suggest it's from the impact of the attack that he felt he has conqueror haki

So you saying that because of the damage zoro did, Kaido thinks it had to have had Kings haki? So does that mean Oden has it then for creating his scar?

Maybe his Haki bloomed in that moment and he just exerted so much haki and force that Kaido is questioning if he also possesses Kings Haki

It's simple, Luffy had his chapter at the beginning of his fight.
He started his second fight with Kaido on Chapter 1000. His entire involvement started from there, he will never get taken out of that fight until he finishes. Zoro on the other hand, has had his first with Kaido just now. Given that he is the last on the list...

You can simply arrive to the conclusion that Zoro gets his named chapter when he encounters and fights Kaido again. Which would be the "beginning" of his second fight with him.

Oda wouldn't have given Kidd CoC in the first place if he wouldn't learn Adv CoC later on. I don't think it makes any other sense for him to have it.
