That's how Zoro's attacks work. He doesn't send people flying outside of flying slash attacks. He didn't move Kaku too. Kaido was wheezing after Zoro's attack which is more than anything anyone besides Oden has accomplished so far.

It would be pretty cool if Zoro goes downstairs and everyone that is fighting notices him (since he would come from the roof where Kaido is) and the enemies are intimidated by his aura/presence alone...so they still decide not to attack him while he is resting.

Zoro has always been an imposing figure plus him going down from that roof being alive could prove to be a quite intimitading sight.
