He was capable to destroy several Whitebeard's body parts in the blink of an eye and it was calculated (by me too) that Whitebeard's CoA was probably only rather weaker than optimal since his force was still pretty devastating.

Akainu might be strong but he would no chance if WB was healthy. healthy WB can have haki clash with pirate king roger. his haki was weak in the war because of his sickness.

You mean the one panel of him looking at Luffy........ Also Mihawk couldn't hit Vista either. And Blocking Mihawk is literally what Vista did, Mihawk was pursuing Luffy and Vista blocked him. Until we see more from Mihawk he is forever trapped in that Vista Clash.
