Look at the speed meme was eating. Caramel would have been chewed to bits before she could react. Her plan was to raise her and sell her as a commodity. Not to die.

Lol i do agree she has eaten them if you read again i mentioned what if caramel planned this sequence out . Her death was part of the plan to control big mom through subconsciously .

My conclusion is Caramel does not really trust WG and CP0 and she was sideline even after sending people to create an army for tenryuobito . I guess in her last meeting she admitted this will be the last deal , i mean why would a child slaver leave her job which she was working effortlessly .

Dont get me wrong we are moving into speculative part caramel set this up so that big mom can eat her and the children and she is controlling big mom subconsciously .

Amnesia plot is no joke from oda it was planned up have you wondered why homies fell silent ? The amnesia part of linlin is her true self and the scheming evil face is actually caramel s homie controlling .

iirc the anime made her eat people/subordinates in her introduction during FMI, though in the manga you dont actually see and it could've just been homies made out of food.
