Speculations Oda's Favourite Strawhat

Just wanted to know.
There are many people in this forum saying zoro is oda's favourite strawhat. But I heard from someone anonymous that he himself stated that Luffy is his favourite strawhat.
So my question is, has Oda clarified his favourite strawhat in any interviews? or all these people speculate his favourite strawhats just because someone has feats in some chapter and change again after some chapters?

probably sanji or luffy.

Sanji barely has restrictions so he can do whatever he wants with the character the most freedom.

Luffy also.

I don’t see why people say zoro is Odas favorite character. He’s the combatant he isn’t gonna make him look bad. Oda doesn’t make sanji look like a bad cook nami a bad navigator franky a bad shipwright.

In my opinion if I had to guess it would be

1. luffy
2. Sanji
3.zoro

Especially since Oda bases sanji on himself a lot.

Luffys gotta be number 1 though. He went 100+ chapters with only luffy.

He also gave sanji his own arc dedicated solely to him and his family history and character. You don’t do things like that for a character you hate.

That’s why I think he is top 2 favorite is sanji and luffy since he plays around with them a lot but moreso sanji because he probably thinks it’s funny

While I’m grateful that my characters are so popular among women, at the end of the day, I just want to draw things that young boys will find cool and interesting. For example, Sanji’s not only suave, he’s perverted as well. That’s what makes him beloved and trusted by other men.

Zoro's character is very subtle this arc.
You'll miss it when you reject it.
You'll find it when you search for it.
