We literally just had luffy saying his advanced coa wasn't enough then the likely hood that the only 2 deep cuts on kaido were cause of coc.

That's against Kaido who has the Strongest Zoan devil fruit in the World where his Dragon Skin basically renders normal attacks ineffective.

No other character on the planet has durability on that level except maybe Big Mom. Other characters get damaged much easier.

It’s clearly armament haki and is the reason why shanks and roger don’t have Black blades.

you have to turn your blade black( armament) to eventually make one.

Oda would never make it conquerers haki since in canon it’s armament

Why would he use it against the guy with the best defence and not others? Wouldn't it be even more effective then

It might be the combination of both CoC and CoA, it might be represented as the ultimate gist of a swordsman. At least the final major step.

Shanks' CoC might be superior to Mihawk's after all but he didn't manage and I doubt he neglected the possibility. Roger too.

I don’t thinks so. Roger was likely a top COC user : pirate king, biggest ambition, straw hat bearer, goal of the MC etc etc. And didn’t have black blade.

Same for great great conquerors like WB, Ray etc.

It is likely COA related. Or CoC has different applications but don’t think so for now. Especially when we know that Zoro speciality will be COA

And it's not like CoC and CoA theories are mutually exclusive. You conquer your blade through CoC and then let your CoA flow through it, making a black blade.

Forging Black Blades is a Choice
It doesn't mean Roger & WB & Shanks weren't capable of doing so

It's basically a Choice whether to keep your CoC for yourself or Buff your Sword Permanently
Zoro having CoC is a Fact now & Black Blades being CoC Forged helps Luffy & Zoro take different Paths to avoid similar Fighting Style

if it is COC related and an improvement power wise WB and Riger would have chosen to do it.

Both Roger and Ray were sword users but didn’t want to do it ? It seems weird to me.

I don’t know maybe their COA were pinnacle or maybe it has something to do with dedication to your weapon etc.

but I have an easier time to believe Mohawk Ryuma have best CoA than their CoC were on par with Roger who didn’t want to make a black blade.
