General & Others Rate Wano so far

Each Act has a few good things to offer but the overall pacing and direction of everything Pre-Raid really doesn't jive with me. We didn't spend enough focus on Wano itself, on the Beast Pirates or with the Alliance growing their numbers. A lot of things happened thanks to convenience.

I'd encourage everyone to reread the Raid or start from where the Oden flashback stops. Because it's actually pretty exciting. Definitely has that Marineford energy going on. That's been the highlight of the arc.

For those reasons, I think I'd agree it's a 4/10.

Good parts in earlier Acts and half of Act 3 being fun doesn't excuse most of Act 1 and Act 2. Certainly doesn't excuse the dullness of half of the longest running arc in One Piece, let alone when you realize we've been leading up to this moment since Punk Hazard or chapter 650.

I'd give it a 7/10 for now. Fighting is ok, the plot is decent. Pacing is a bit off but that's bearable. Too much plot holes like Whitebeard doesn't know about Kaido being in Wano during Oden's flashback and unnecessary plot tool Big Mom's Mother Mode shoving in our face as a readers.

6,8/10 around most good Arc.

> Some Amazing Chara-Design ( Denjirou, Ashura Douji, Inuarashi & Neko, Who's Who, Queen )

> Some funny and surprising stuff ( King and Marco both making the Mama Chanter Fall )

> Some really really dumb stuff ( Oden, pouring CoC into Armament Haki to make a new Haki recipe,... Next time Luffy pour Observation Haki too into his fist ? )

> Some really hyped stuff were really not worth the hype... Like "every flying 6 could be a Commander" and then Page One is clowned by Usopp and Nami

> Lots of Inconsistencies.... Why Whole Cake Island is not invaded ? ( Okay it surely is )

> Too much characters over hyped then we saw NOTHING... I wanted Ashura Douji to fight King or something of the sort, not just have a few panels and that's it...

Heat, Wire, Sachi, Bepo still are useless

5/10
Zoro beating king and killing kaido will bump it up a point
Hawkins doing something significant will bump it up .5
Drake fighting queen and sanji fighting perospero will bump it up .5
my boy Moria showing it up will bump it another .5
jack getting a w will bump it .3
if the straw hats get decent enough fights that’s another .5

If Moria shows up, it will automatically rise to 10/10 and it should happen because they fucking fought years ago. But as long as he reappears among the Blackbeard pirates, I'm satisfied.
8/10, but with the climax of this war (SHs fighting, etc.) the result may go up to 10

7/10 with the potential to either crash and burn in the end or even go up to a 8/10 or 9/10 (all depending on the finale of the arc).

So far it's certainly better than WCI and Dressrosa, the last two "big arcs".

(for anyone, who hasn't done it so far: re-read it from the start, it's much better than reading one chapter per week)

The main problems are still the pacing and some questionable PIS moments, that Oda is notorious for.

Little changes I would bring to the Arc to make it better part 1 :

1. > Kidd must have a Hype fight, so he fight some Silver Medalist from Rocks / Whitebeard time who is a captain and at least worth a Yonkou Commander 2 and High Diff him in 1 chapter fight while Killer easily defeat the number 2

2. > Queen and Killer need a hype fight too so they fight each other in Udon and Queen defeat him but not by much

3. > No Oden stupid stuff

4. > Not so much off-paneled fight, we want to see Law versus Hawkins and Drake versus Who's Who and Queen
