Oden is a beast. The flashback is getting better as we go forward.

During their first meeting, Roger said to Rayleigh that he had a nice ship and it's perfect for them to use it and set sail.

I'm getting the same vibe in this chapter with Oden and Whitebeard

When the nine scabbards get their hands on Orochi at the end of the arc.


It's sad what happened to Inu, neko and Kawa.
It adds further significance to the minks' sacrifice of concealing Raizo despite torture back in Zou.

Artistically, the chapter looks stunning, spreads of the samurai and Whitebeard pirates have great gravitas to them.
And of course the clash between the two biggest CHADS in the history of chadness. Too much big dick energy in one chapter :steef:

I also missed this on my first read, but it looks like the Mountain Boar survived with its child, someone stitched it back up :amazing: Also looks like Jr is carrying Oden in the procession.

Great chapter

Man i feel terrible for how kawamatsu, inu, and neko were treated. Thankfully Oden was able to help them. Zoro was spot on saying kawamatsu was a fishman, Zoro caught onto kiku aswel lol.

Now i wanna see the interaction between Jinbei and Kawamatsu.

Now knowing kawamatsu survived on scraps and leftovers, no wonder he was able to survive in the udon prison.

Man Oden was a god damn monster, but lets not get ahead ourselves and say oden = wb during that fight.

And the obligatory FUCKOROCHI

Lol Marco could barely stop himself from falling over when WB and Oden clashed.

This chapter proved that Marco wasn’t important during Roger’s Era. He was just a cabin boy / apprentice. That’s why Shanks never met him before.

The WBP were never equal to the Roger Pirates. It was just WB = Roger. The WB Pirates are equal to the BP and BMP, not a step above. All three crews formed at the same time. Even the future YC1s of the WBP and BMP were young boys still on the rise back then.
