Remains to be seen. But luffys been clapped twice and had his power up. This is the point where he turns it around and usually wins.

I don't think the Ragnarock KO is enough of an emotional defeat to count to be honest. This War still doesn't feel like one, Luffy and Co always always suffer before rising up. None of them did besides Luffy but imo the Udon Camp was less suffering and more training.

Im just saying that from a story perspective there has to be more, whereas from a logical and power one the answer is Luffy beating him.

And yes it doesnt make sense but what can you do.

I can't see that. Luffy won't be fighting in base much longer he's gonna bust out either acoc g4 or a new form now. Which means he's gonna start slamming kaido

So you think Luffy will just outright overpower and win now? That's fine by me, i just wanna get out of this arc anyways.

But you can't deny that story wise it's just meh and way too easy.

I think now Luffy could get his 1 vs 1 win which end s with him sending kaido off the roof flying like he said into the Flower capital which they will be approaching soon. But a lot depends on what yamato does I guess. The longer it stays just he and kaido the less chances he has of losing that fight cause no one is there to save him if he does.

- KoL changed my mind about Dragon being strongest 4 years ago ... and that's really it ...

manga , more information or feats and hyped did the rest of the "changing" for me. so while my opinions changed over 100 times over small and sometimes big thing ... ARGUMENTS never did helped it much

cause people like me and most of us are now looking at one piece power level as " group identity" and we share the most toxic behaver of this failed logic in our action knowingly and mostly unknowingly ...

so old timer people don't change their mind here unless they HAVE TO



again ... no big shocking news here ... I assume most of us know this ...

Do you find this a satisfactory story arc for a villain that's been the overarching enemy of the post skip saga so far?

Does it not feel too easy?

It's far too easy. If big mom really took page one out and this upcoming chapter is indeed namis where she uses zeus to clap ulti too that means the sh fights are getting done now.

Yes, I can't exactly point my finger at when exactly it happened but I was convinced a few times, especially, when I was arguing with @ZenZu, @Bogard, and @Celestial D. Dragon in the past 5-6 years.

@Celestial D. Dragon played a pivotal role in making me realize just how special Luffy is as the main character and the captain of the SH crew. The dude's insights are top class when it comes to Luffy. He also played a major role in convincing me that Shanks may not be the strongest Yonko around.

Bogard needs no explanation, we've been on the same boat so often that I subconsciously turn my "Yes-man" mode ON whenever I see him post something.

Last but not the least, that dreaded @ZenZu. It doesn't matter if you don't agree with him. It's hard not to be convinced by this guy's arguments. Everything about him is dangerous, I never engage him in an argument unless I am fairly confident I am gonna win but he still somehow makes me lose confidence lmao.

A few other things I changed my opinions on but can't really remember who changed my opinions
  • Mihawk VS Shanks: Trust me, I was a Haki-man club member once. But I changed my views on the matter after taking part in a few heated debates and reading some other insightful debates and discussions.
  • Admirals VS Yonko. I used to think the Yonko are a level or two above the Admirals. Hell, I even stopped visiting OJ for a few months during my initial days because most people didn't agree with me when I said Shanks made Akainu shit his pants. I thought they were all stupid. Now I think I was the stupid one lmao.
  • Aokiji VS Akainu: I used to think Akainu had an advantage over Kuzan but I no longer believe it thanks to a few logical Akainu fans. Celestial D. Dragon played a role in this one too.
  • Garp VS Roger: Used to think Garp is Rogers' equal but someone convinced me otherwise, though it was a long time ago.
  • Sengoku: I never had a low opinion of him but I rate him a bit higher now thanks to @Fleet Admiral Lee Hung and other prominent admiral fans on WG.

Seriously? Not really.

I hardly changed my mind because of another user mentioning me something that they believed was off, probably because I generally try to read the manga before highlighting my line of thought.
