In the same war they are portrayed on the same side fighting WB crew keep your headacanons to urself admiral tard
Its also headcanon to claim he meant the Marines as well. :kata:

Actually in this case we have to headcanon the most logical case, did he mean:
  1. "Us" Shichibukai
  2. "Us" Pirates
  3. "Us" Men
  4. "Us" Shichibukai + Navy
And actually the 4. is the least logical tbh. I think Mihawk meant the 1. as he talked to his Shichibukai fellows. Also well possible is 2. as Whitebeard is known as the world strongest pirate and he may have talked to his Shichibukai fellows about the difference between them pirates and the worlds strongest pirate. For the same reasoning and Whitebeards worlds strongest man, 3. is also possible.

I'd say 1. > 2. > 3. >> 4. in terms of logical possibilities what Mihawk meant, but that's debatable ofc.

WG captured him and tried to kill him per author words
Fodders who tried to hang him or put him under the Guillotine, they couldnt kill him.
That was probably the reason they send Kaido to Vegapunk for investigations instead to let Papazuki finish him off.:akasalt:

Fact is that Kaido challanged the Navy and got defeated and captured several times. No he was not scared in that process, just like he was not scared fighting Roger, Newgate and your beloved Yonko.

Marines and Shichibukai are on the same side per the panel posted they came to fight for the WG call :hihihi:

WB is the world strongest man not pirate nice try ; Sengoku said that and continued by saying he has the power to destroy the world

And why Mihawk would mean pirates when they are on the same side + he is the WSM per author words and he talks about his power in comparison to the whole side cuz Marines winning means shichibukai winning with them you talk about Shichibukai as a different group there while Author says Marines + shichibukai vs WB crew:hihihi:

Read above

Roronoa-sama

Magic Sword, Magic Swordsman, and Can Cut Anything
"To cut down an oni in one clean sweep, he's on his way to Onigashima!"
So even the vivre card are confirming that Zoro target is Kaido. Well guys, there it is your final fight for Zoro! By the way, they say to cut down in one clean sweep, that mean this feat hasnt happen yet, Zoro left a scar but didnt cut down clean Kaido. Foreshadowin 100% more interaction between Zoro&Kaido.

Greg from One Piece, mention that Kaido could be an Oni. There was a panel where Zoro used Oni-giri and Greg mention that is appriopriate to be used vs Kaido (based of his race).

He achieved a complete victory with Rengoku Onigiri over Killer, the manslayer Kamazou who terrorised the Flower Capital!
This was just so obvious from the get go. Even the anime show the total superiority of Zoro.

In any case, thanks @Den_Den_Mushi for your translations.

Warlords are a separate power and by logic we know marines + walords>1 yonko crew so not the marines
-He talked to doffy saying Us
he meant the warlords which is the most logical nice try, kizaru low-diffed someone stronger then milaugh so easily

WB is the world strongest man not pirate nice try
Manga:

Databook (Blue Deep):
"Whitebeard, one of the 4 Emperors, is the strongest pirate in the world."

I can just keep refering to this - maybe you are right, but its less likely:

Thank you. I believed this one, but I trust you ofc.
There aren't much to debate when it comes to whether it's pirate海賊 or man男, the text is there

That translation is kind of wrong though, the paragraph is describing the impact of WBs death, beginning with "Whitebeard, one of the Four Emperors and the strongest man."
Yes you can say that it still means WB is the strongest but that's not the point of this line.

What about sickbeard?
Beeing sick is part of his Old state. He is only sick because he is old (and had not a good nutrition with all the wine).

Old Whitebeard who entered the war (before decreasing any further in health and state due to injuries and sickness), was at that time meant by Oda to be the World's Strongest Pirate - no doubts.

Whether Oda changed his mind later on when introducing Kaido or not is debateable, but Oldbeard was Mid to High Top Tier level and superior to all Yonko apart maybe Kaido.

Got it.:kata: Officially translated Databooks in other languages prove to be inaccurate once again.

Well his old age was not the cause of sickness but it did affected him...........I am fine with old healthy WB being the strongest but WB who get heart attacks? No

He only got one heart attack cause he kept decreasing in health and got injured a bit which didnt help his health either - was still pretty unlucky tho.

The Whitebeard Oda is talking about is the one who clashed with Shanks and the one who entered the war like a boss.

"He has arrived at the Navy HQ"

That’s mine. I posted it originally on OJ.

に次ぐ - comes just after/just behind X

接ぐ - adjoining X

The VC mentions the first, not the second. The pronunciation is the same so 接ぐ most likely stems from a typo.

For future reference though, I wouldn’t use Arthur’s translations. The man makes shit up and fucks up majorly, such as when he described Chopper as ‘half human’ in a translation. Chopper is no such thing and that’s not what the text said to begin with.

Personally I just think you shouldn't use someone elses summaries to back yourself up, it's better to just look for (trustworthy) translation and interpret it however you would, or best, look at the original if you can read it

But NEVER EVER use google translate, simple terms are usually fine but paragraphs are a mess
