Then like the others apart from luffy went to zoro and asked him how he is

Luffy somehow runs to kaido in front of them they somehow don't see him
And then they ask zoro how he is after standing in silence.

Nah, this is a made up assumption. Law did what he's expected to do, use the most basic of his techniques to take them out there, but the one who saved them was ultimately Zoro as he was the one who took the attack and was seriously damaged after it. Zoro did take the attack but only to stop it for a second, long enough for Law to get them out of there before being wiped out. Zoro couldn't survive that without him, at the end of the day.
This logic of "characters should have done what I believe they should have and therefore I'm right" is absurd. Noone there had to thank anybody, to begin with. And if someone thanked Zoro was because he risked his life, unlike Law.
