Tbh I also used to think Kaido is too nerfed facing luffy for it to be considered a 1vs1 but looking closely at Kaidou's introduction chapter,it doesn't mention Kaidou's hp at all.

The only thing said Is "In a 1vs 1,always bet on Kaidou".....no mention of Kaidou's health condition so don't be surprised if Oda decides to hail Luffy the 1vs1 champion post Wano and we know he won't hesitate to do it if he truly wants.

It is actually a viable outcome.

Pathetic cringe, that is not how the in universe characters will view it.
The scabbards did no damage, Zoro wounded Kaido but didn't put him down, but Luffy pummelled Kaido with G4 putting him down for several pages beforehand, none of the other supernovas did signifcant damage- Luffy was the only one confident that he was dealing damage, due to his internal destruction ryuo and superior physical stats.
Luffy on the other hand was boro breathed due to Big Mom's distraction, and earlier was exploded by Apoo's trick ability that knocked him out, and he doesn't have zoan regen, he was knocked out again by Kaido BEFORE LEARNING ADVANCED COC and reaching his peak strength.
Fresh Luffy with new COC peak strength would be more of a buff to current Luffy than restoring the amount of Damage Kaido has taken to him.

When did i say anything about the universe of characters. Bro he not going to 1 v 1 him. Its that simple.

He exhausted from fighting Kaido. Lmao BM literally did noting to Luffy cause lightning has no affect on him. Kaodo has fought like q4 people so far.

Yamato is going there to help Luffy now and will probably leave sometime later as well. Luffy WILL beat Kaido 1v1, his legend will fall just like Katakuri's that should be obvious.
Of course Luffy won't be the solo factor in KAIDO'S downfall as he wasn't in Katakuri's fall either. Kaido has been tanking attack for the last 25 chapters just so Oda could make him lose to Luffy in a 1v1.
Luffy has been knocked out two times already in the night and he hasn't a hack DF for Regen and Kaido is still going down to him.
