It's funny how under-developed Kaido is in this arc. Orochi is much more developed as a villain despite being an ant infront of Kaido. It's almost like Kaido isn't even a character at this point 
tbh I don’t really care about strength, I do enjoy Kaidou’s current feats but I won’t give a shit even if he lose (he did quite a lot for some people’s expectations of top tiers) as long as it’s “reasonable/make sense”.
If someone ask me who’s gonna win in a fight, LinLin or Kaidou, I AM going to say Kaidou, but that’s just my impression based on my own understanding and experience reading the story, it’s perfectly fine if people disagree or tries to convince me otherwise; but if they want me to find panels and write a 10 pages analysis defending my opinion then I have to give up lmao
Kaido is definitely under developed so far, but it's because of his current role in the narrative. His purpose right now is to be the overpowered seemingly invincible final boss.
But when the direct conflict starts we'll surely get into his backstory (history with Big Mom/Rocks) and ideals (Why he's suicidal).
