To what extent can Haki be used on Logia Devil Fruits?

Light
Lightning
Sand
Swamp
Smoke
Gas
Ice
Fire
Snow
Darkness

So to me,
- Magma - pretty physical so I think that something like Hardening can be used on it and same for flowing type Haki.
- Light - I don't know how Kizaru is able to turn light particles into a physical sword. If the Swords are physical, then maybe hardening can be used on them. I think flow can definitely be used on his light beams.
- Lightning - I don't think any type of armament haki can be used on lightning.
- Sand - I think that Hardening and Flow can be used on sand
- Swamp - I think that Hardening and flow can be used on Swamp
- Smoke - I'm not sure. Smoker is able to condense his smoke so maybe hardening can be used on it and same goes for flow.
- Gas - I don't think either can be used on Gas but maybe like smoker.....
- Ice - Both types can be used
- Fire - Neither flow or hardening
- Snow - I think both can be used
- Darkness- Neither.

Well if you mean how effective haki is then it depends on what's opposing it rather than how powerful the user is since haki is the same offensively wise regardless of its user's logia

You can give haki to non solid things like flying slash :

It is the same for fire or gas

It was stated since its introduction that haki works in order to hurt every logia so by a logical leap any logia can turn it into haki

I think Oda can use différents tools to make us understand haki is used :

-drawing blood or hurt people who are normally immune to it : like here with zoro and monet : he managed to hurt monet so we knew that he used haki

- drawing electrical arcs around the attack, like he did when haki is used : Zoro last attack vs Pica or Kata vs Luffy etc.

- or showing only the hardening of the fist/sword and not into the attack : for exemple for mera mera Oda can show Sabo hardened fist before he uses hiken so we know that the attack is haki imbued.

- or lastly he can colour the fire in black but I don't think it will be really that great artistically wise.
