Yeah he was huffing after attacking Law and Zoro I mean the dude took many named attacks why it is a surprise that he is huffing?

He was shaking after ashura and released some bubbles, but he only got HUFF HUFF after his BAGUA finisher with huge amount of HAKI.
It may have been the same here, KAIDO used his finisher with huge amounts of HAKI and sent Luffy out.

Seems like a damn good chapter.
Now we can all agree that Big Mom won't be an ally even with Tama on the other side, really looking forward to whats going to happen with Zeus and if he is really dead or not.
I am kinda excited to see what Kidd can do against a Yonkou.
Luffy even with 2 recent power ups was sure acting arrogant that can take on Kaido 1 vs 1. I think this is a good development it gives time to focus on all the other fights in Wano while Luffy can recover and come back to round 3 against Kaido.

And how does the first statement correlate to them being tied in power? One could have went all out while the other was restraining themselves with both still almost potentially killing each other.

Garp sucker punched Marco once and then proceeded to get hit by luffy contributing no feats afterwards.

Now I'm really curious as to what Kaido did to win. He decided he was having fun and that just had him trump over Luffy like nothing.

We aren’t talking about taking the swords away. I don’t think Kidd is taking away any competent swordsman sword away. I was talking about repelling or slowing down the attacks with his magnetism. Many in the battledome were saying that Kidd’s magnetism would have no effect on Zoro. This upcoming fight against Big Mom will prove who is right and who is wrong.

Fair enough, we'll see.
Logically he should be able to at pull or at least affect them yes. But the way he hasn't shown any of the sort makes believe that he can't affect them (probably because of Haki or something).
Just the fact that Kid probably had his arm chopped off with a sword is telling me that he's not that good at countering sharp weapons but we'll see.

Gotta give credit when it's due. Kidd is massively impressive in this chapter, and he will pull some feats that's expected of his potrayal
But my point still stands tho, Kid will not beat Big Mom. The fight will get interupted when Onigashima arrives at mainland Wano
