Flashbacks in a Dressrosa carried it. Doffy was the center piece though, chewing the scenery every time he appeared. Put any other antagonist in there and I think Dressrosa flops.

There is lot more to Doffy though. We still have no idea about Crocodile's origin. In Alabasta, he was a run-of-the-mill villain who was an absolute monster that incited war. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Crocodile as a villain.

But Doffy had depth that was so much more satisfying.
