I'm pretty sure Dyna's role is some form of ghost-possession thing, where he attatches himself onto a player. I believe his original role had no defined win con, and instead, he absorbs the wincon of the player he targets. I assume if Emi were to be killed, then he'd either leave the game with her, or he'd find another player, but the latter seems somewhat overpowered, so it's probably more limited than that. This would explain why Dyna "died", but was able to still post. I don't think Dyna should be the lynch today, I've seen roles almost exactly like this before. There are several scummier indie claims, or scummier people in general.

At the very worst case I feel, Dyna is some sort of limited cult thing, given that a recruit failed too. But in that case, he's kinda not really going anywhere right now. I don't think this scenario is really all that likely due to how weak a cult role it would be, so it just makes sense to me that Dyna is an Indie that basically merges with a player, I can probably think of a few characters who would fit this sort of role too. We'll be able to see more in the future, it doesn't need to be resolved today in my opinion.

Once again it sounds like scum can use that role so what incentive do we have to keep him alive? I believe he explained that already.

I don't imagine he can change his possession target that easily. As for incentive, I think you're approaching this the wrong way. So far, Dyna hasn't particularly gone out of his way to mislead or bamboozle the town. In fact, they've been pretty open. I'm not fond of hunting indies because they're indies, I don't think Dyna should be the lynch today. Fuji or Usopp, I'm fine with either.
