If he was going to have Kaido immediately stomp her, he would have let her reveal her abilities against other characters first. Just look at the Scabbards:
Yamato will be similar. She'll lose to Kaido eventually, but not before she shows out first.
Like narratively it shouldn't be a stomp.

- She oneshot Ulti the first time around.

- Franky and Hatchan intervened before she and Sasaki could begin fighting
If he was going to have Kaido immediately stomp her, he would have let her reveal her abilities against other characters first. Just look at the Scabbards:
- The Sulong Dukes got their hype against Jack's Zoan form.
- The Scabbards got their hype against Kaido's Dragon form

I could see it at the end (or perhaps around the climax) of Kaido's fight with Yamato.
It doesn't fit his Devil Fruit.

As for the Vermillion Bird, I'm not sure that Marco's Phoenix doesn't already represent it.
I wouldn't be so sure about the Black Warrior. Redon's hint may only refer to one or two of those beasts and not all four of them.

I don't think Yamato is going to fight Kaido only to underperform the Scabbards. If her fight was so meaningless, why make it the second to the last?
If Oda intended for Yamato vs Kaido to be Kaido vs Scabbards part two, I think Oda would have had Yamato fight Kaido earlier.
