Even though they fight and they killing each other
They have huge respect for one another. and their main core revolves around family theme !
Unlike Roger has Partners.

WB views Oden brother, someone close to his power and in trust; while he has sons who are way weaker than him
He had a family via bond and trust. He despises rebellion.

BM has biological family, she really despises those that betrays her. She doesn't value her ex husbands tho.

Kaido crew is based in brotherhood, Jack calls Queen and King Brothers.

I think Rocks was like Father figure to them 3! He kept them under control via force.

Xebec's crew rules are the same as BB's. Aka for me it is not that they respect each other but they respect each other strength.

If we have a injured / debilitated / hungry etc BM on the side of the road and a random Kaido passes by the first thing I expect him to do is try to take advantage of the situation and so try to kill her.

Or if when they clashed one of the 2 was way weaker than the other then the first would kill him instead of asking for an allaiance.

Or BB captains during Marineford ready to leave if BB failed.
