Again STOP THE CAP about Shogun Franky, Franky Used his strongest Attack on Baby 5 and Buffalo and we know that Because Franky said it himself, and they Tanked that Shit, Usopp and Nami bailed him out..... Do not bring Franky attack power up in these discussions.

It's bullshit complaint about oda needing luffy when he gave this dude advanced observation and advanced armament.
It's silly for people getting mad at oda about gear 4th when it was stated from jump that the form pulls and wastes to much haki period. Luffy needs to find another form entirely or to combine the concept of gear 4 with his awakening so that his new improved finished gear 4 won't require the constant need of haki in the first place. In other words in my mind when luffy awakens his fruit he won't need to put haki into his gear 4 for it to be gear 4 in the first place since it would be able to absorb and shock and bounce of the air and retract and harden while remaining rubbery without the need of having to use haki.

Sanji is a blunt force user, That Door was built to absorb all forms of blunt force impact. This is was literally explained

i think this is what 5th gear will solve.
2nd gear: increased speed, drains stamina
3rd gear: increased power, drains strength
4th gear: massively increased speed + power, hard time limit
5th gear: increased speed + power, not to the limits of gear 4, but luffy can fight for an unlimited amount of time without sleep or food or haki drain at the cost of being totally KO'd after he turns it off. this lets luffy fight for 5-10 days at a time like the top tiers

To be fair, the ass pulls in Fairy Tail are much worse than the ass pulls in one piece. I distinctly remember a scene where Erza had her senses of sight, smell, and hearing taken away and her sense of touch increased to the point that just the air touching her skin caused her to collapse in pain, but then she remembered that she had friends, so she somehow delivered a precise lethal attack while having no way of locating her opponent and won the fight. Call me when One Piece gets to that level.
