Bakugo is perfect and has great development throughout the series. Dickhead characters and their arcs is what Hori’s best at. Looking at you, Enji Todoroki

That's some high praise. I'm starting that series soon, you're hyping me up for my expectations to be high. I've heard mixed things from people on KnY. No one has been in the middle with it, some are saying it's meh at best, others are saying it's the greatest thing ever.

Well, KnY has well writing characters and also villains; I think there was no villain who didn't have a flashback. The fights are amazing (both in choreography and powerlevels), the world building is interesting and at the end, there is Muzan. As @HA001 mentioned, if you want to see an anime or manga in which Michael Jackson is the bad guy, KnY is the perfect manga for you.

The MC is bascially Midoriya

I wouldn't really say Tanjirou and Midoriya have the character. Sure, both of them share the same cheerful character but at the end, their ideals are totally different.
You won't see Midoriya headbutting guys like Bakugou or Todoroki whenever they hella piss him off lol.

IMO It's good but not OP/HxH level.

Well, that's the part in which I can say "let's agree to disagree" since I do think that KnY is a good competition against OP.

If KnY is anything like My Hero Trashedemia then I’m probably not gonna like it

My biggest problem with MHA is Bakagou. Other characters love this guy for being the most self entitled, selfish, arrogant prick. Even his victims feckin love him (#StockholmDeku).

How other characters react to Bakagou’s personality is just straight up unbelievable. No one ever calls him out on his bull and people accept his dire personality because reasons.

If you are going to have a dickhead character then at least have the characters acknowledge that he is a dickhead.

One of the reasons why I hate Deku. Like how can you like and admire a guy whos bullied you hardcore. I get why red head ( forgot his name) likes Bakugo, since theyre friends. But Deku should despise him. I hate how much of a goody two shoes he is. It just aint realistic.

Well, Bakugou is fine but it wouldn't be bad if he gets that beatdown which Luffy suffered against Katakuri. But before he gets that beatdown, Naruto and Natsu deserve this shit far more lmao.

Deku is ok (how he treats his childhood bully is weird). Bakugou starts off annoying af, becomes likeable around his rescue arc (almost like Hori made a similar situation as the Sasuke retrieval arc and did a 180 saying "look Bakugou isn't Sasuke 2.0")

I don't get that either; sure, they are childhood friends but at the end, Bakugou is the kind of dipshit who utterly bullies him since they were children. Deku should act like Tanjirou and headbutt Bakugou whenever he acts like a total prick towards him lol.

I had the same thoughts when reading that, then you get Bakugo having this stress overload thinking his inability as a hero causes the downfall of All Might and then his bridging friendship with Deku.

He’s a very good character that pretty organically evolved.

But for real — anyone caught up with the manga. Endeavors repentance arc blows me out of the water. That’s a really nuanced character right there, makes me wish Shoto was the Mc some times and I generally think Shoto is the weakest of the Big A1 Trio character wise.
