You mix up things here.

The plot at beginn was Luffy becoming the pirate king. The symbols back then were all given, the strawhat, everyone mentioning luffy behaves and says the same as roger etc. pp.. Absolute symbolism here. So Luffy was able to succeed back then what Roger already succeeded.

The plot just changed. Now the goal isnt Roger anymore, its joyboy. But the symbolism is exactly the same.

Its about his OWN choices and actions that made him the candidate of be the needed person. Luffy is a genious in combat and has the Will and personality of great legends.

Its not about give him some aura, Power, demon , etc to make him stronger. He is what he is because of himself. And as a usuary master of his own fruit he can look better than other DF users with better fruits since they arent near competent and strong as luffy.

As the sniper Dude from Black Beard Said, he thought DF users are nothing without their Power, not the case of luffy, ace and many others.

Luffy fruit Will NEVER be something special itself, the best you can hope is that some important person had It before. But that dont make the fruit special or Op by any means.

Nope lmao, Luffy is the chose one. Everything was meant for him when he was born, it makes no sense to say that he could have been a lazy if he wanted to

If King does fight post-rooftop Zoro, this is what he'd have to overcome

- (Temporarily) 100 % Zoro while potentially weakened by Marco
- Potential fire based abilities(wild fire nickname) being countered by Zoro's fire cutting ability(bad match-up)
- Potential Conqueror haki, Nidai kitetsu, and black blade plot for Zoro

Poor King

The only two real disadvantages King has in this fight is Zoro at 100% while he isn’t and Zoro has a away two counter his fire abilities which seems to be a big part of him! Zoro’s CoC is fodder control lvl so far, it’s not a real threat yet.

This is kind of why I think shanks is the chess master trying to make the prophecy happen. He gave him the hat. He gave him the goal to be pirate king. He gave him the fruit (by accident I guess) so it's like he saw Luffy was a potential joyboy early and started trying to make it happen

Shanks scheming for this could be good and bad. In one hand it could lead to a great moment in the story where Luffy has to combat the idea of destiny face to face in a battle against shanks. On the other it would look like Luffy was given the perfect startup to becoming the messiah

Area of birth was fine, Strawhat was fine, behavior was fine, wording was fine, connected people was fine, same dream was fine, even getting help from every roger member around was fine.
