Future Events Thoughts on Zoro being nerfed post-Wano

Given the side effects of the miracle drug, Zoro is likely to be nerfed post Wano unless the crew stay in Wano for months just to recover.

It'll be similar to what happened after Thriller Bark and maybe even worse than that.

Story wise it will help Oda write in more difficulty and challenges with incoming enemies since a 100% SH crew will be tough for even Yonko level characters post Wano.

For Zoro fans it will be annoying to see him nerfed but if Zoro has more Wano feats incoming in the more immediate future I think it'll be okay.

They will probably stay in Wano a while to recover and celebrate, Zoro has good recovery stats usually.

I think it's acceptable. After all, Zoro is gonna loldiff a YC1 and then kill a Yonko this arc. Storytelling wise, no one aside from genuine top tiers will even begin to register as a threat for Zoro post-Wano.

Him being nerfed when meeting RHP and BBP does make someone like Shiryu a genuine threat for Zoro, because otherwise, a healthy Zoro can just handwave Shiryu out of existence.

When he is finally healed 100% after Luffy becomes PK, genuine top tiers in Fujitora and Mihawk will be waiting for him, not just as "believable" threats, but as "date with destiny" threats.

It's Shonen so to be expected. Unless the writer wants to wrap up the series quickly they'll add in obstacles to slow down progression.

Being nerfed and pushing past his limits in the next big fight will be zoro moment for sure. Tbh I am mostly waiting for Oda to solve the plot lines that are opened for Zoro in Wano.

i want zoro to be more poetic with his move execution... that honestly was the cherry on top of that massive cake... soo good honestly..

Yes, it has to be applied to Zoro to keep him in check otherwise story becomes easy mode.
Or he has to give special tricks to opponents who need to keep Zoro occupied, something like Pica, where Zoro's power is "useless".

They’re going to stay in wano for two weeks after the war where Luffy and Zoro will be on the brink of death (we’ve been told that their survival chance at the end of the month is 19%) and then they’ll party and once the month ends Luffy and Zoro will be fully healed for the next adventure so no Zoro won’t be nerfed.
