A lot of people are hyping up Jinbe’s CoA because WsW broke his fingers from hitting Jinbe, but remember when Black Maria was punching Sanji and Sanji said that he can’t use CoA to defend himself or else his hardened body will hurt Black Maria’s knuckles? Why doesn’t anybody give Sanji credit for this? This is just as good as Jinbe’s feat

It's not "just as good", because Jinbe actually proved it while Sanji's was just a hypothetical. I do believe he would've hurt her if he used CoA though, his armament is extremely underrated.

Sanji having weak CoA is headcanon. It's just like when people say Zoro is slow or has weak CoO despite nothing in the story to indicate that

Sanji durability to get beat the crap out with brass is no joke plus he could move or defend & I'm pretty sure BM is hitting hard & who know maybe at the tip of her bras knuckle has sea stone just saying even more hype

When you’re so salty that Jinbe was more impressive in one fight than one of your favs in a plethora of matchups that you try to equate Sanji’s reticence to do anything against a woman at all with actual proof that what he said will have occurred.

There’s a reason Sanji has a raidsuit. It’s because his defense, and his CoA, is not good, and certainly not on the level of a guy who has CoA so hard that he broke a Tobi Roppi’s finger’s on simple contact, took a point blank rankyaku to the face with no damage, broke his opponent’s wrists with a simple grip through a tekkai and CoA, and then finished him with one strike. This same guy also tanked an attack from a raging Yonko with his CoA.

Stop with this ridiculous comparison. A gag/character flaw is not even in the same realm as what Jinbe did.

Sanji has already been excessively characterized as a womanizer/simp. This dialogue was unnecessary for characterizing him, and it was clearly written by Oda in order to preemptively answer the question of “Why doesn’t Sanji at least use CoA to reduce the damage he receives?”

Sanji was explicitly mentioned to have CoA so the comparison also doesn't check out. It's just that his armament doesn't compare to Zoro, Luffy, or Jinbe. Quote me again when he actually hurts shit with his defense
