Half the time it’s because it references itself and doesn’t bother to properly contextualize shit like saying stuff like

A sentence like this is complete nonsense as not only does it not accurately describe HOW it allows him to do that, but what limitless is also isn’t properly explained, being cited as essentially being “the power of infinity” or essentially fractal equations, but also THAT isn’t properly explained or contextualized with the knowledge of how Cursed Energy works. Like, what even IS it?

Nen is explained to essentially be your life force, Reiatsu your soul, Chakra your stamina, etc… we understand how these people harness these aspects to turn them into power, and how they manifest as unique abilities or traits.
For JJK this shit is never explained and you’re just supposed to accept it at face value, and then a bunch of other shit is being thrown at you and never properly explained either. Half the time it just feels like Gege is throwing whatever random shit he thinks up together and pretending it has coherence.
I had to look up online what six eyes actually fucking did to get it, because we’re never shown how Gojo uses them to essentially turn his brain into a supercomputer, and worst yet, this power is used for narrative reasons, not just fights.
Fucking awful.

The main problem with content outside of manga volumes it's that it's made up of around 90% of compiled info from the manga and maybe 10% of extra added by Oda but the people who compile most of it make general statements that end up getting translated and speculated into ''hard facts'' by the fandom, in this case Lucky Roux goes from a character on panel explaining that they got a DF to being the person who personally stole it and we (as fandom) have no way of knowing if this is an assumption made by the people making the vivre card, a mistaken interpretation made by the people translating it or an actual new insight about that scene from Oda and despite all that uncertainty it ends up being treated as gospel.
