The thing with Kaido is that Sengoku and company admitted that Kaido 40 years ago is weaker than Kaido today which could mean that it's possible that Kaido 20 years ago is also weaker than Kaido now BUT Kaido has never been scarred by anyone besides Oden... Like Kaido was whooped liked a baby during the God valley incident and was whooped so hard that he still has ptsd from it and has gone on to fight everyone since then and had been whooped again and again... BUT HE ONLY GOT SCARRED ONCE... By Oden.... So Kaido's strength should be a completely different topic from his durability... It seems his durability is monstrously seperate from any other stats he has so you can't measure how strong he is while accounting for durability as well
But how does that take away from the fact that Rogers's sickness is likely draining on his strength ?
- The Roger/Whitebeard pirates never clashed as far as I can tell. They fought during Rocks times.
Would be really amazing if Roger and WB was indeed the reason why the shape of the island change and the animals of the island became monsters who could even widerstand G4 lol xD.
Ye imagine if Rayleigh know that the weather changes once a week bc the fight between Roger and WB lasted a couple of weeks xD Rayleigh said that Roger liked to do things in big style so if he rly fights WB it's sure going to be close to a real death match Its the only thing Oda can fk up about this flashback..
The kanji on the defeated marine's cape read as admiral (two kanji on top) and a kanji below it, which I can't identify properly. It could mean "Fox", but I'm not sure.

In the spoiler is pretty clear that they fought before, Rayleigh says that the WBP are in the same Island and says it's been long time since they fought, also we don't know the nature of Roger's illness.

HOLY CRAP
am I the ONLY ONE who noticed the similarity in the eyebrows between the two?????
UNBELIEVABLE level of similarities??? The theories of Shiki reappearing is Still alive and strong it seems, and I'm the one who revived it hahaha. For real, that eyebrows is special. No one has it except Shiki so far
To be fair, fighting with the aim to kill is DIFFERENT than fighting without intending to kill.
So, although Roger might have the disadvantage of being sick, WB probably was fighting back but wasn't having the intention of mutual kill like Roger. WB like everytime, is all about protecting his family. So, he might have been defensive more than having the killing intent.

But this is happening three years before the Edd war battle.... We know what shiki looked like during edd war so he must have aged rapidly fast in this three years to end up looking like that
And theres also the fact that this guy is an underling in Wano yet the rox pirates remnants are making names for themselves out of Wano
