Sure baking the cake is laughable and was one of the worst aspects of Whole Trash Island, but that was Sanjis greatest feat. He actually incapacitated a Yonko, meaning he finally actually did something useful when he isn’t beating his captain or putting the crew in deep danger. That was a W for Sanji and an L for One Piece. And I think even regular fans would say the same

Katakuri made the arc good. So there’s the strong guy.
But I’m in one piece not for fights but the overarching mysteries and lore. Fights against big shots is all I care about.

Arc stories have usually been mid in the post timeskip. For me at least
