Sanji joined the crew in chapter 68. How many characters joined the crew after Sanji? 5 characters. Did they fuck up the M3 balance? No. Did any character dethrone one of the monster trio characters? No.

- Chopper joined= a stronger fighter but didn't dethrone one of the M3.

- Robin joined= a strong fighter, challenged the whole crew and many people thought she was the strongest ST but she didn't dethrone one of the M3.

- Then Franky joined= a strong fighter, equally fought against Luffy, and was hyped up by Oda many times but he didn't dethrone one of the M3.

- Brook joined= a strong fighter but didn't dethrone one of the M3.

- Jinbei joined= a former warlord and a very strong fighter but he didn't dethrone one of the M3. He's fighting a F6 while Sanji is fighting Queen LOL.


And now we have Yamato and you keep talking about how she gonna be the third or second strongest LOL. Some even think she's equal to Luffy. You guys don't read.

Oda is the most CONSISTENT mangaka of all time, the M3 is not going to change.

Luffy (Roger)>= Zoro (Rayleigh)> Sanji (Gaban)>> the rest of the ST.

Now that we are seeing true legends like Kidd holding his own alone for two chapters against Mom and Yamato doing what she is doing against Kaido, I truly understand why the Yonko are of a different class

Pathetic Admirals can only casually fight on par with Rayleigh while the Yonko are strong enough to fight against Kid the walking L and Yamato the participation trophy

Sure, could be, but nothing really denies that it may also be related to Sanji and they both ended up hiding one of their eyes while keeping the one matching their sides as Luffy's wings. It would be a common and organic creative process.

By the way, I'm going to assume that Oda did draw Rayleigh with a scar the first time he was shown, because it isn't completely clear.
